“Real-Time Credit Card Fraud Detection System is a machine learning project designed to identify and analyze potentially fraudulent credit card transactions. The project uses the ULB-Worldline Credit Card Fraud Dataset and was developed using Python, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, and SHAP for model development and explainability. I evaluated multiple modeling and imbalance-handling approaches and developed a Streamlit web application that provides real-time fraud risk predictions and explanations. The project demonstrates how machine learning and explainable AI can be applied to a real-world financial problem while supporting transparent and informed decision-making.”
